About the position

The Senior Director, Digital Marketing and Demand Generation will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at scaling the adoption of ICF's solutions across various high-growth industries. This role focuses on enhancing brand awareness, audience engagement, and demand generation through innovative marketing campaigns, while ensuring measurable impact on ICF's market presence and lead generation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement digital marketing and demand generation programs to drive engagement with key buyers and influencers.
  • Develop creative strategies to reach diverse buyer types with varying needs, focusing on extended sales cycles.
  • Determine the tactical mix of channels including email, digital, paid, webinars, and events for effective campaigns.
  • Oversee management and optimization of database marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation and nurture programs.
  • Lead strategy for paid and third-party campaigns using key industry channels, social media, and display advertising.
  • Optimize digital channels and strategies to support campaign efforts in collaboration with digital/web and social marketing teams.
  • Utilize a data-centric approach to measure, analyze, test, and optimize demand generation program performance.
  • Support the creation of strategic marketing plans to build awareness and demand for industry-specific go-to-market efforts.
  • Collaborate with campaign strategy, creative, and content teams to ensure effective messaging and deliverables for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Enhance account-based marketing programs targeting key client segments in federal and energy markets.
  • Manage a team of demand generation and campaign optimization professionals.
  • Evaluate and manage external vendors contributing to demand generation programs.
  • Foster an environment of fresh thinking and new ideas, recommending process and results improvements.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B or B2G environments.
  • Experience working directly with senior leaders and stakeholders to manage programs.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments to achieve goals.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation systems like Marketo or Dynamics and navigating CRMs for campaign performance.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities to maximize demand creation and pipeline contribution.
  • Ability to interpret data and create actionable insights for campaign optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Corporate or marketing agency experience.
  • Experience with federal capture, procurement, and business development processes.
  • Familiarity with client types and buyer audiences with long sales cycles.
  • Product and solution marketing experience.
  • Experience in data management, compliance, governance, quality, and measurement.
