About the position

Emerald is seeking a results-driven Senior Director, Digital Marketing Services with proven experience developing and executing comprehensive digital strategies. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including lead generation, sponsored content such as webinars and custom content, programmatic and display advertising, paid social, targeted email campaigns, and cross-functional experience in social media management, marketing, and branding. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, incredible attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do attitude, which are essential for success in this position. The Senior Director will lead an internal support team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success. This includes overseeing the onboarding process for ad operations deliverables, which involves customer needs assessment, process design and development, and the creation of instructions and tools to ensure seamless integration into existing workflows. The role also requires ongoing monitoring and validation of deliverable integrity to ensure high-quality output that meets client expectations. In addition, the Senior Director will identify process issues and create tools and technology solutions that enable the team to improve accuracy and consistency. Acting as an escalation point for potential challenges or delivery issues, the Senior Director will propose solutions as needed. Regular status updates and reports will be delivered to internal teams, clients, and account management, highlighting campaign progress and addressing any outstanding deliverables or issues. Collaboration with sales leads to train sales associates on new advertising programs and platforms is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an internal support team providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
  • Responsible for the onboarding process for ad ops deliverables (Display, lead gen, webinars, etc.), including customer needs assessment, process design and development, and creation of instructions and tools ensuring seamless integration onto our delivery teams and existing workflow.
  • Monitor and validate deliverable integrity on an ongoing basis, ensuring high-quality output meets client expectations.
  • Identify process issues and create tools and technology solutions that will enable your team to improve accuracy and consistency.
  • Act as an escalation point for potential challenges or delivery issues, proposing solutions as needed.
  • Deliver regular status updates and reports to internal teams, clients, and account management, highlighting campaign progress and addressing any outstanding deliverables or issues.
  • Work with sales leads to train sales associates on new advertising programs and platforms.

Requirements

  • Superior analytical & communications skills - must be able to understand complex problems and articulate logical, defensible solutions.
  • Experience with social platforms, marketing automation tools, display advertising, lead generation execution, and data reporting tools.
  • Assist in developing, coordinating, producing, editing, proofing, and delivering digital content and marketing materials.
  • Develop success metrics and measure/analyze campaign results in order to demonstrate success.
  • Experience using Hubspot, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, WordPress, On24, Microsoft Suite.
