About the position

The Digital Manufacturing (DM) Team at Pfizer is dedicated to simplifying processes and enhancing experiences to drive outcomes for Pfizer Global Supply (PGS). This team is responsible for the digital transformation of processes across various operations, including shop floor, engineering, and environment, health, and safety. By leveraging user experience and design thinking, DM aims to understand the daily journeys of PGS customers and drive efficiencies in end-to-end operations. The integration of predictive and prescriptive insights from artificial intelligence into manufacturing and cross-functional applications is a key focus area. The overarching philosophy of the team is to 'Keep doing good work,' aligning with Pfizer's Purpose Blueprint to 'Win the Digital Race in Pharma.' In the role of Senior Director, E2E Network Solutions, the individual will lead the ownership of solutions, products, and dashboards that extend beyond manufacturing. This includes managing the Digital Operations Center (DOC) product suite and exploring opportunities to consolidate existing capabilities to create a seamless, data-driven insight engine that merges manufacturing, quality, and supply chain processes. The DOC serves as a collaboration and management tool, providing a harmonized digital view of manufacturing operations accessible across multiple devices. The Senior Director will also oversee products such as Digital Manufacturing Intelligence & AI, Connected Worker & Shop Floor Products, Predictive Operations Suite, and E2E Visibility & Analytics, ensuring the delivery of tools that optimize operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making. This leadership role requires a strong collaborator who can integrate advanced analytics, business intelligence, and AI/ML innovations into scalable solutions that foster continuous improvement and competitive advantage. The team will include data scientists who will apply statistical and machine learning techniques to business data, enhancing the overall operational capabilities of PGS. The Senior Director will also be responsible for evaluating existing tools to meet new business needs before introducing new solutions, ensuring a streamlined and efficient product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product professionals and collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, deliver, and deploy all E2E Network Performance projects for PGS.
  • Deliver technology and solutions within categories such as DOC, Connected Worker & Shopfloor, Predictive Ops, and E2E Visibility & Analytics.
  • Utilize analytics to identify opportunities for improvements, cost reduction, and enhanced operational efficiency across PGS.
  • Generate actionable insights from performance data through analytics teams, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Oversee the development of real-time reporting and business intelligence solutions.
  • Implement predictive models and cognitive analytics tools to forecast trends and enhance decision-making.
  • Innovate and deploy digital tools that enhance connectivity and efficiency for shop floor operations and workforce management.
  • Design and deploy interactive data visualizations that communicate complex data in an understandable manner.
  • Develop robust data models that contextualize data for tailored analytics applications.
  • Manage and streamline the portfolio of Data Products to create a versatile portfolio of cross-functional products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align operational analytics initiatives with overall business strategies.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure their data needs are met and integrated into broader operational strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Operations Management, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience with a minimum of 7+ years in operational analytics or a related field, with significant leadership experience in a complex, multi-functional organization.
  • Expertise in data analytics tools, statistical software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
