About the position

The Senior Director of elinzanetant Pharmaceutical Direct to Consumer (DTC) Marketing at Bayer will lead the strategic direction for consumer marketing for the launch and lifecycle development of the elinzanetant brand. This role is pivotal in driving growth in Women's Healthcare and involves managing a team to execute branded and unbranded consumer missions aligned with brand objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive development and implementation of consumer strategy and activities for elinzanetant.
  • Lead branded missions designed to differentiate elinzanetant in a competitive marketplace.
  • Collaborate across functions to create unbranded missions demonstrating Bayer's commitment to Women's Healthcare and menopause.
  • Develop consumer campaigns and messaging.
  • Manage market research and insight development.
  • Lead the development of operational brand plans and modify as needed to ensure alignment with brand strategy.
  • Manage consumer engagement and digital strategy including content development and program deployment across various channels.
  • Manage relevant parts of P&L, including budget allocation and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Market Access, Advocacy, Communications/PR, and Patient Support Services to assure alignment with consumer marketing missions.
  • Develop and execute direct to consumer activation plans for launch.
  • Drive integration of consumer marketing with digital marketing organization.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience, including strategic marketing for product launches and in-line products.
  • Sound understanding of brand management principles and marketing strategies for consumer audiences.
  • Expertise in advertising, promotion, and knowledge of US industry policies for product launch planning.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Highly creative and self-directed with effective goal pursuit.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, including mentoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building and influencing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • High emotional intelligence for dealing with strategic challenges and diverse teams.
  • Ability to lead and influence stakeholders on marketing strategy and execution.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 25%.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience in Women's Healthcare, launch, and DTC marketing.
