About the position

As the Senior Director of Global Brand Creative Studio Operations at lululemon, you will lead the development and optimization of creative processes, ensuring excellence in project delivery and fostering collaboration across various departments. This role involves partnering with Global Brand Creative leaders and external agencies to drive the creative enablement process, while building a world-class team of studio operators responsible for implementing best practices and optimizing workflows. You will also manage budgets, resource planning, and strategic project prioritization to meet business needs and support the overall creative vision and brand storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize creative processes for project delivery excellence.
  • Foster collaboration across departments and with external agency partners.
  • Build and lead a team of studio operators, including project managers and creative operations managers.
  • Establish best practices, tools, and resources to optimize creative workflows.
  • Work with SVP, Global Brand Creative on resource planning and project prioritization.
  • Design and implement cross-functional processes for brand campaign planning and performance reporting.
  • Transform creative planning processes for global brand campaigns.
  • Communicate cross-functionally to ensure marketing priorities are met.
  • Manage production budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Partner with legal and procurement to meet commercial objectives for agency contracts.
  • Collaborate with Global Brand Leaders to develop efficient operating models.
  • Implement programs that support the creative team in delivering on-time and on-budget.
  • Manage external creative resources, including freelancers, to meet deadlines.
  • Lead and empower the team, focusing on overall success and individual growth.
  • Establish communication protocols and best practices for the creative team.
  • Support regional creative teams to ensure unified operational processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15+ years of experience managing high-performing teams in fast-paced environments or agencies
  • Experience managing large global production budgets
  • Ability to activate operational rigor and process against creative work
  • Global experience with a strategic and data-driven mindset
  • Strong project management, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Proven track record in organizing and executing large-scale projects
  • Demonstrated leadership to inspire teams and drive flexible solutions
  • Deep understanding of creative processes, needs, tools, and industry trends
  • Experience in building scalable solutions
  • Effective and collaborative stakeholder across the organization
