About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Global Marketing to join our Neuromodulation Division. This pivotal role will report directly to the Divisional Vice President of Marketing and will lead a team responsible for defining and executing the future strategy, portfolio, and associated development programs. The successful candidate will build capability across the organization and will lead teams across Strategy, Analytics, Product Marketing, Marketing Research, and Marketing Operations to drive innovation and growth. In this role, you will be responsible for team leadership, building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing global marketing team while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You will collaborate with the executive leadership team to define and execute the long-term strategy for the Neuromodulation Division. Additionally, you will oversee the development and management of the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives. Leading cross-functional teams to drive the development and launch of innovative neuromodulation products will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also drive business development deals and partnerships to expand market reach and enhance the product portfolio. Utilizing data-driven insights, you will assess markets, inform strategic decisions, identify market opportunities, and optimize marketing efforts. Developing and executing clinical marketing strategies to support product adoption and demonstrate clinical efficacy will be essential. Furthermore, you will build in-house market research capabilities and lead initiatives to gather insights on customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends. Collaboration will be crucial as you liaise with other areas of the organization to implement changes based on market feedback, working closely with R&D, Sales, Regulatory, and other key stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies. You will prepare departmental forecasts and budgets, monitor new product introductions for volume, revenue, and cost against forecasts, and collaborate with Commercial teams to adapt plans to improve sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • MBA; demonstrated learning agility within roles.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong background in medical device marketing strategy, and leading teams such as analytics, L&A, and clinical marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Strong focus on achieving results and driving performance. Demonstrated achievement growing brand, categories, and new customer acquisition.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions.
  • Deep understanding of product marketing, from development through commercialization.
  • Experience in developing and executing clinical marketing strategies.
  • Experience in driving business development deals and partnerships.
  • Proven experience in building successful brands and driving brand strategy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Must be an effective storyteller.
  • Experience working in a global environment, with an understanding of diverse markets and cultures.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $184,000.00 - $368,000.00 based on experience and location.
