About the position

Procore is looking for a Sr. Director, HR Business Partner to support our Go-to-Market (GTM) organizations, which include Sales, Marketing, and Strategy. This role will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and SVP of Strategy & Sales Operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with leaders across the GTM Team and HR to define comprehensive talent plans that encompass leadership development, skills enhancement, organizational design, location strategy, and employee engagement. These plans are crucial for unlocking the full potential of the organization and ensuring the successful execution of GTM strategies and the Procore 3 Year Strategy. In this leadership position, the Sr. Director will manage a team of skilled HR Business Partners and play a pivotal role in advancing Procore's transformation into a strategic business partnership model. While the role is open to remote work, the ideal candidate will be located near Procore's offices in Austin, TX, or Carpinteria, CA, to foster in-person relationships with local leaders and teams. The responsibilities of this position include hiring, developing, and engaging a high-performing team of HR Business Partners dedicated to the GTM organization. The Sr. Director will need to deeply understand Procore's business plans and translate them into actionable people and culture initiatives that drive success. This role requires collaboration across various HR functions, such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations, as well as with non-HR stakeholders like Legal and Finance, to ensure comprehensive planning and impactful outcomes. Additionally, the Sr. Director will champion change within client organizations and the Business Partner Team, leveraging data to enhance decision-making and the effectiveness of talent programs and processes. Coaching and advising senior leaders across the GTM organization will also be a key aspect of this role, ensuring that leadership is equipped to navigate the complexities of a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, develop, and engage a team of high-performing HR Business Partners responsible for the GTM organization including Sales, Marketing, and Strategy.
  • Deeply understand Procore and GTM business plans, translating them into people and culture work that ensures success.
  • Partner across HR and non-HR stakeholders to ensure holistic plans and impact.
  • Drive the adoption and impact of enterprise talent programs that support GTM success, such as succession planning and leadership development.
  • Champion change within client organizations and the Business Partner Team.
  • Leverage data to drive enhanced decision-making and impact of talent programs and processes.
  • Coach and advise senior leaders across the GTM organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably with experience in both line (HRBP) and center roles (e.g., Compensation).
  • 5+ years of experience leading HR Business Partner teams.
  • Experience supporting a global Sales organization, including experience with sales compensation.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex issues and prioritize projects concurrently while thinking strategically.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, matrixed, SaaS organizations, demonstrating the ability to balance long-term vision with pragmatic MVP (minimum viable product).
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
