About the position

Iron Mountain is in Year 2 of its externally announced “Matterhorn” growth journey. After building the initial strategy and investing in multiple high-growth potential business lines (Data Center, ALM, Digital), we are now looking at our Consumer storage business as a potential significant growth opportunity. Additionally, we have acquired a majority stake and control of all consumer storage assets from Clutter (valet storage), in which we previously held a smaller ownership stake. Iron Mountain is now seeking a Senior Director, Head of Strategy and Growth to oversee consumer strategy, marketing, and business development. As the Head of Strategy and Growth, you will be responsible for driving the development of the overall consumer strategy, surfacing and scoping growth opportunities at the intersection of marketing and product development, designing go-to-market mechanisms for achieving business goals, supporting planning efforts, and enabling optimal data-driven decision making across our organization. In this role, you will lead a high-performance, best-in-class team across strategy, marketing, and growth. You will develop a comprehensive strategic plan and growth strategy in close partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and tracking industry and market landscapes, including macroeconomic factors, category share trends, product performance, and both internal and external business risks. You will lead the strategic planning process overall, establish key performance indicators, and monitor progress. Additionally, you will create scalable analytics tools and dashboards that increase executional velocity and data-driven decision-making. You will develop and execute on a strategic growth plan that sustainably delivers success across key metrics, including customer acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement. Collaboration with cross-functional partners will be essential to ensure that growth strategies are fully supported and integrated across all parts of the organization. You will also evaluate product extensions or features and develop/present a justifiable case internally to facilitate buy-in from relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, you will evaluate and refine Clutter's growth strategy across performance marketing, brand marketing, channel partnerships, etc.
