We are seeking a motivated and driven Senior Director, HR Business Partner to play a crucial role in ensuring that Wave Life Sciences possesses the talent, culture, and organizational infrastructure necessary to fulfill our ambitious mission. In this strategic role, you will serve as a partner and coach to the leadership of Wave's Platform Discovery & Research organizations. By collaborating closely with these client groups, you will gain insights into their goals, challenges, and workforce needs, allowing you to create, implement, and drive talent development, engagement, and retention strategies that align with both the client groups' objectives and the overarching company strategy. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the development and implementation of organizational effectiveness strategies across the organization. Your responsibilities will include enhancing team performance and fostering inclusive, empowering, and high-functioning team environments through coaching, facilitation, and creative interventions. You will design and facilitate workshops and focus groups aimed at improving team effectiveness, ensuring that sessions yield actionable and sustainable solutions. As a trusted advisor, you will provide support and guidance to managers and employees on performance and other HR-related matters, creating a safe space for open dialogue. You will also mediate and resolve complex employee relations issues, conduct thorough investigations when necessary, and identify, design, and deliver learning and development initiatives to enhance the capabilities of your assigned client groups, promoting a culture of continuous growth. Furthermore, you will implement employee engagement programs, advance our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) efforts, collaborate with leadership on organizational structures, and develop strategies for organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
