About the position

The Senior Director for the Global HR Mergers & Acquisitions team at WTW is responsible for generating M&A revenue across the company. This role involves expanding business with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities, while leading a core team of 25 individuals and collaborating with over 200 experts in North America. The position requires a strong focus on client relationship management, sales processes, and the delivery of high-quality consulting solutions in the M&A space.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales processes and activities in the assigned region.
• Lead and develop new business opportunities, including client relationship building.
• Conduct lead generation activities through multiple sales channels.
• Tailor sales processes to accommodate style and culture preferences as necessary.
• Track leads, report on wins and losses, and share knowledge.
• Participate in speaking and vendor demonstration events to generate leads.
• Support sales and marketing efforts, including sponsoring user groups.
• Work with senior executives to address business issues related to M&A and develop solutions.
• Design and implement complex client projects focused on M&A engagements.
• Serve as a lead member of the client delivery team and ensure high-quality consulting solutions.
• Maintain knowledge about products, services, and competitors.
• Collaborate with colleagues to understand the services offered and how they can help clients.
• Manage teams of consultants and client personnel to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure effective communication of sales processes, scope, and deliverables to the client delivery team.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to solicit feedback and identify opportunities for revenue expansion.
• Create and execute business strategy to penetrate local and division markets and introduce new clients to the firm.

Requirements

• 10+ years of business experience managing mergers, acquisitions, and/or divestitures for multinational companies with a focus on HR.
• Proven ability to generate and grow revenue.
• Achievement of individual sales and utilization goals.
• Understanding of sales management theory and its application to individual behavior.
• Experience in selling and delivering management consulting services to senior business leaders.
• Experience working within and leading virtual teams.
• Track record of success in managing key client relationships.
• Experience managing large, diversified teams and projects, delivering quality results on time and within budget.
• Deep knowledge of mergers & acquisitions preferred.
• Significant knowledge of HR programs and processes.
• Exceptional client relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and develop insights.
• Strong market presence with polished written and oral communication skills.
• Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management across all levels of an organization.
• Flexibility with travel ranging from 5-25%.
• Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree in a related field preferred.
