The Senior Director, Internal Sales Operations & Planning position at Herr Foods Inc. is a pivotal role that drives strategic sales analysis and execution to achieve both financial and non-financial goals among Sales teams. The role is based in Nottingham, PA, and involves a schedule of Monday to Friday, approximately 40+ hours a week, with mostly on-site work and some hybrid possibilities. In this role, the Senior Director will lead cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and operations teams to develop integrated sales and operation plans. The position supports compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices related to sales and customer interactions. The incumbent will actively participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights and align reporting efforts with strategic goals. Additionally, the Senior Director will oversee Sales and Operations Planning, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts and operational capabilities, and provide strategic recommendations to capitalize on market opportunities and grow market share. The role also involves leading the senior sales team in developing annual budgets, sales goals, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Continuous improvement is a key focus, driving accountability and prioritization to ensure the team is focused on high-impact areas that yield valuable business performance. The Senior Director will engage with internal and external groups to build relationships with key customer contacts, operators, and distributors, delivering clear and proactive communication to customers. Furthermore, the position includes supervising the Demand Planning & Forecasting Team, identifying development opportunities for team members, and maintaining oversight of team performance against critical KPIs.
