The Senior Director of Change and Release Management at Marriott International is a pivotal leadership role responsible for guiding a global team through a transformative period. Responsibilities

• Lead the global Change and Release Management team through transformation initiatives.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of processes for efficient change flow and release coordination.
• Act as the process owner for change management, evaluating risks associated with changes and releases.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and relevant standards for all release processes.
• Develop and communicate effective strategies for change and release management to stakeholders.
• Promote awareness of structured change and release control processes across the organization.
• Collaborate with various teams to drive continuous improvement in change and release processes.
• Manage projects and priorities to ensure timely completion of change initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall work experience in Information Technology or application development.
• 7+ years of experience supporting cross-functional application and infrastructure teams.
• 5+ years in a technical discipline role with experience in change and release processes.
• 4+ years of applications support in a cloud environment and technical infrastructure.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field.
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, Asset Management, and Application Portfolio Management.
• Advanced knowledge of ITSM processes and infrastructure change management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with IT outsourcing activities in a managed services environment.
• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Experience in a DevSecOps environment.
• Ability to work with global teams across different time zones.
• Experience in applying measurement processes for assessing program outcomes.
