About the position
The Senior Director IT Operations at The Hershey Company is a pivotal role responsible for formulating and implementing the IT strategy across various platforms, including Employee Services, Infrastructure, and Application Platforms. This position aims to drive digital transformation and enhance user experience by overseeing the design, implementation, and administration of the company's IT infrastructure. The role involves managing a diverse team, optimizing budgets, and ensuring compliance with security policies while leading initiatives to innovate and simplify technology services for employees.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and govern operational processes for incident and change management.
- Implement and support the batch process management platform.
- Manage data center and remote location infrastructure to minimize operational disruption.
- Oversee full lifecycle management of software and hardware using the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure compliance of all IT systems and devices with Hershey's information security policies.
- Complete infrastructure audit compliance activities aligned with internal and external requirements.
- Oversee IT infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high service delivery levels.
- Drive digitization and simplification of employee services powered by technology.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in leading and implementing technology and designing business processes.
- Minimum of 10 years leading infrastructure teams (Network, Cloud, etc.).
- Experience in complex managerial roles with significant cross-functional work.
- Certifications in Cloud, Operations, and Infrastructure (e.g., ITIL; Azure) are desirable.

- Mix of Business and STEM undergraduate degrees preferred.
