About the position

As a Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal, you will play a crucial leadership role in the Life Sciences practice, focusing on turnaround management, restructuring, and corporate advisory services. This position involves engaging with clients at the c-suite and board levels, developing strategies to address their challenges, and mentoring junior staff. You will be responsible for fostering innovation, managing client relationships, and supporting business development efforts while ensuring the delivery of actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging in c-suite and board-level conversations regarding client challenges and strategic initiatives.
  • Utilizing experience to function in interim roles such as CEO, CFO, or CCO.
  • Serving as the main client point of contact for project engagements and guiding case teams.
  • Leveraging research and data to develop strategic frameworks and recommendations.
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and ensuring project outputs are actionable.
  • Supporting business development by identifying client needs and shaping proposals.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior staff, sharing topic matter knowledge.
  • Coordinating project staffing to meet team needs and support direct reports' goals.

Requirements

  • Over a decade of experience in the life sciences industry.
  • Proven track record in assessing and managing risk.
  • Ability to identify trends and create innovative solutions.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster a supportive team atmosphere.
