About the position

As a Senior Director in the Life Sciences practice at Alvarez & Marsal, you will lead case teams in developing and executing strategies to help clients navigate complex challenges in the life sciences industry. This role involves direct client engagement, mentorship of junior staff, and the development of internal best practices, all while fostering a culture of integrity, quality, and inclusiveness.

Responsibilities

• Engage in c-suite and board-level conversations regarding client challenges and strategic initiatives.
• Utilize experience to function in interim roles such as CEO, CFO, or CCO.
• Serve as the main client point of contact for project engagements and guide case teams.
• Leverage research and data to synthesize insights and develop actionable recommendations.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with clients and ensure project outputs are strategically sound.
• Support business development by identifying client needs and shaping proposals.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, sharing topic matter knowledge and assisting with their development.
• Coordinate project staffing to meet team needs and support direct reports' goals.

Requirements

• Over a decade of experience in the life sciences industry.
• Proven track record in assessing and managing risk.
• Ability to identify trends and create innovative solutions across integrated markets.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster a supportive team atmosphere.
• Experience in leading and managing teams.
