About the position

The Senior Director, Field Logistics is a pivotal leadership role within the Optimum Supply Chain & Logistics organization at Altice USA. This position is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and material planning across the Western region, managing over 100 regional warehouse locations. The Senior Director will lead a logistics workforce that supports field technicians and contractors, while collaborating with various leadership teams to enhance operational efficiency and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and quality of regional warehouse fulfillment centers
  • Implements KPIs and Metrics to track business success and motivate workforce
  • Accountable for ensuring inventory is planned, tracked, and issued at all locations; including adherence to regular cycle count activities as required by the business
  • Regularly meets with leadership teams across construction, engineering, installation, and field services to support materials and inventory demand planning process
  • Identifies and addresses operational quality and/or performance issues of materials, equipment, fleet, and/or operations
  • Manages a workforce to optimize performance by effectively prioritizing work, delegating responsibilities, and communicating clearly and consistently across all levels of the organization
  • Leverages industry best practices to create opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiencies, and inventory management
  • Regularly travels within the region to audit operations, implement new processes, and support field managers in administrative activities
  • Performs managerial functions, such as, mentoring, coaching, training, administering performance reviews, conducting disciplinary actions, approving timesheets, and interviewing employment candidates
  • Ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of general warehouse management oversight
  • Maintain a valid US Driver's License - Candidate may be issued a company vehicle
  • Deep understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
  • Experience with direct management of hourly employee workforce
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
