About the position

The Senior Director of Marketing & Creative Strategy leads the in-house creative studio, responsible for developing and executing creative campaigns that align with the company's marketing and business objectives. This role requires a strategic creative leader with experience in managing creative teams and overseeing projects from concept to completion, ensuring innovative and high-quality output.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and inspire the in-house creative team, including account/project management, video producers, editors, and copywriters.
  • Lead the vision and creative concepting in collaboration with the creative team and internal clients.
  • Oversee the development and execution of multi-channel creative campaigns that align with brand strategy and business objectives.
  • Demonstrate creative thought leadership and keep ahead of trends to inspire the studio team.
  • Ensure consistent application of the company's brand identity across creative campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to innovate the creative approach.
  • Partner with the Marketing Research team to evaluate the effectiveness of creative campaigns and make strategic adjustments.
  • Manage relationships with external creative partners to optimize resources and elevate creative output.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience.
  • 10+ years of experience partnering with creative ad agencies to develop impactful creative.
  • 8+ years of experience in television commercial creative development and production.
  • 8+ years of marketing project management experience.
  • Extensive experience in developing direct marketing creative, specifically DRTV & FSI creative, preferably for a subscription-based business.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Design, or Film Production.
  • 10+ years of creative, production, or ad agency experience.
  • 8+ years of group management experience.
  • Knowledge of cable television products and services.
  • Knowledge of advertising creative and production history and trends.
