About the position

The Senior Director of Marketing Operations will oversee and manage all Marketing Operations functions within Sanofi's North America Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) team. This role is pivotal in streamlining processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing the deployment of marketing assets. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive best-in-class capabilities across the organization, contributing to the modernization of Sanofi's commercial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement streamlined processes and procedures for agile end-to-end operations.
  • Consolidate the Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review processes across Business Units.
  • Manage print and fulfillment vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Administer purchasing processes and ensure timely processing of purchase orders.
  • Act as the single accountable owner for TAG (low complexity creative agency) relationship in the US.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing programs.
  • Develop and manage budgets for Marketing Operations functions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for Marketing Operations functions.
  • Create a roadmap for internalization of external capabilities utilizing HUB resources.
  • Innovate processes to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Commercial and/or Marketing Operations, particularly in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to marketing materials.
  • Experience developing and managing budgets for Marketing Operations functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
