The Sr. Director of Network Business Operations & Program Management at Florida Blue is a pivotal role responsible for establishing the strategic direction for network program management that aligns with the overarching priorities and success criteria of Network Management. This position leads a team comprising Senior Managers and Senior Consultants, who are tasked with executing the daily operations of the business. A key aspect of this role involves analyzing business needs and determining the most efficient and effective ways to develop or modify operations to achieve desired outcomes. The Sr. Director is also responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of documented Network Programs, ensuring that these programs maximize synergies across various entities, including BCBSA, Commercial Markets, Medicare Markets, New Business Markets, and Vendor Management. In this role, the Sr. Director evaluates operations to ensure that business results are delivered in compliance with corporate policies, regulatory standards, BCBSA requirements, and criteria set by accrediting bodies. Frequent collaboration across all business divisions is essential to execute agreed-upon strategies or programs effectively. The Sr. Director will set the direction for program management goals that align with executive priorities, drive collaboration across divisions, and lead day-to-day operations, including the analysis of business needs. This position requires proficiency in Network Contracting, Network Build/Development, and Provider Reimbursement and payment processes. The Sr. Director will also measure and report on the efficiency of systems and processes used to manage business operations, ensuring that capabilities developed to meet business objectives include the necessary technology for automated governance and accuracy. Understanding industry dynamics and serving as a liaison between senior business leaders and technical teams is crucial for ensuring that business visions and priorities are effectively implemented.
