The Senior Director of Asset Management Operations leads our asset management team in optimizing the performance and efficiency of our property management portfolio. This role is crucial in ensuring that our assets are strategically managed to maximize returns while minimizing risks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in asset management, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive operational excellence. In this position, you will develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the performance of our asset management operations, specifically looking for ways to increase the value of the portfolio through refinance, sale, purchase of LP interests, etc. You will oversee the analysis, evaluation, and optimization of our asset portfolio to maximize returns and align with organizational goals, assisting in the evaluation of markets for development during the due diligence period. Additionally, you will implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with asset management activities and drive efficiency improvements across asset management processes, leveraging technology and best practices. Conducting financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making and ensure the financial health of assets will also be a key responsibility. As a leader, you will mentor a team of asset management professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including senior management, finance, and operations teams, will be essential to ensure alignment on asset management strategies and goals. You will also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all asset management activities, while managing other projects and work assigned by your supervisor as needed.
