To support this vision, we have established a newly formed team dedicated to transforming the Athlete Experience (AX). The mandate of this team is to develop and drive the cross-functional strategy, roadmap, and value in support of this strategy. As the Senior Director of AX, you will hold a central leadership role across the AX portfolio, which encompasses various programs that span our Business and Technology teams. You will be expected to work effectively across all levels of a cross-functional organization and will be accountable for delivering defined outcomes and value through influence, management, and, when necessary, execution. In this role, you will oversee a select group of direct reports and manage cross-functional teammates within the AX sphere to achieve key deliverables for enterprise initiatives. You will mobilize cross-functional teams using evidence-based influencing skills, lead workshops with stakeholders and technology partners to align strategy and work, and provide executive-level updates on prioritization and progress. Your ability to translate stakeholder insights into prioritization and product vision will be essential, as will your collaboration with stakeholders to enhance business proficiency and promote human-centered design principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct coaching conversations and provide strategic feedback to teammates.
• Foster a people-first culture where teammates thrive.
• Lead high-complexity, high-impact enterprise initiatives.
• Define and support strategy across multiple projects.
• Create discovery strategies and identify new product opportunities.
• Co-author roadmaps based on strategic enterprise needs.
• Use decision support tools to weigh competing factors and communicate rationale behind prioritized work to executives.
• Lead discovery processes using data to pinpoint athlete pain points and identify data patterns.
• Set long-term vision for large strategic projects using mixed research methods and design thinking.
• Gather feedback, form, and track KPIs/Metrics using goal frameworks to set metrics and outcomes.
• Identify patterns through behavioral and usage trends and collaborate with stakeholders to build goals and discovery objectives.
• Identify and mitigate dependencies across cross-functional teams and stakeholders during product delivery.
• Guide the creation of the release plan, including feature prioritization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10-15 years of experience in a relevant field.
