About the position

The Senior Director of Digital Marketing at Bio-Techne will lead the company's digital marketing initiatives, focusing on enhancing brand awareness, driving customer acquisition, and increasing revenue. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy while managing a team of professionals across various digital channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Global Digital Marketing strategy for Bio-techne while ensuring alignment with the needs of business stakeholders.
  • Supervise a team of professionals to develop and execute digital marketing strategies across multiple channels including website, social media, email, content marketing, SEO, PPC/SEM, and display advertising.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Establish and monitor Digital Marketing key performance indicators and continuously test and optimize marketing strategies based on data insights.
  • Oversee the effort to conduct market research and analysis to keep up to date on industry trends and changes in consumer behavior.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Establish and manage budgets for digital marketing campaigns, tracking and reporting on their effectiveness and ROI.
  • Manage a team of digital marketing professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and training as needed.
  • Stay up to date on digital marketing tools and technologies, identifying opportunities to leverage new platforms and channels.
  • Interact with executive level management, negotiate critical matters, and influence policymaking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • A science background is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience leading teams in projects and procedural changes of large scope.
