About the position

PlanITROI is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to lead and grow the overall marketing strategy while overseeing the marketing team. This role focuses on aligning marketing initiatives with business goals, managing external agencies for graphic design and content creation, and enhancing brand visibility and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive, high-impact marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee all marketing activities and campaigns, ensuring consistency across channels and alignment with the brand's voice.
  • Lead strategic initiatives across various marketing channels, including digital, social, and content marketing.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies focused on graphic design, content, and communications to ensure cohesive, effective brand representation.
  • Serve as the main liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, coordinating efforts for efficient project execution and brand consistency.
  • Act as the organization's chief storyteller, crafting a cohesive brand message that resonates with target audiences across all divisions.
  • Drive brand positioning and messaging, in alignment with mission and values, establishing a unique market identity.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and align go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee the execution of multiple campaigns, including digital, content, and social initiatives aimed at driving customer acquisition and retention.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to monitor performance and adjust strategies accordingly for optimal results.
  • Implement segmentation, tracking, and analysis of campaigns, reporting key metrics and ROI.
  • Build a comprehensive marketing playbook to map the customer journey and align with sales initiatives.
  • Develop and manage content creation efforts, ensuring all materials align with the brand story and are optimized for target audiences.
  • Oversee the deployment of web, email, and social media strategies, ensuring alignment with the brand and audience needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Utilize analytics to track market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
  • Set marketing goals and KPIs, continuously monitoring performance and adjusting as needed to achieve objectives.
  • Build relationships with key industry associations and stakeholders to enhance brand reputation and establish industry presence.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and post-event analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a director role.
  • Proven experience in the Computer Hardware & Services industry or similar.
  • Expertise in B2B targeted digital marketing, content creation, storytelling, and data-driven campaign management.
  • Experience in using modern tools, apps, web, AI, etc.
  • Experience in building, leading, and growing a high-performance team and managing external agency relationships.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
