About the position

The Senior Director of Marketing at Kit is responsible for leading the marketing team to enhance brand recognition and drive customer acquisition. This role involves developing and executing a marketing strategy aimed at professional creators, analyzing market trends, and making data-driven decisions to achieve growth in Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR). The position requires collaboration across various departments and a focus on continuous improvement and team management.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a marketing strategy focused on reaching a professional creator target audience.
  • Engage with the broader team and stakeholders to share insights, updates, and strategic decisions.
  • Conduct market and trend analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and market shifts.
  • Define, track, and report on top of funnel metrics, building hypotheses and testing them regularly.
  • Set a clear and focused strategy for the marketing team, continually reassessing performance and priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Brand, Customer Growth, and Customer Experience to lead go-to-market planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Broad marketing knowledge and experience, particularly in product marketing.
  • Fluency in marketing metrics and data analysis.
  • Experience in formulating cohesive marketing strategies based on customer insights.
  • Ability to build and work within nimble systems that promote thoughtfulness and speed.
  • Experience managing a team of 8+ in a SaaS environment.
