About the position

In this role at Roblox, you will be responsible for the strategy, vision, and execution of the infrastructure layer of the platform that supports a global community of developers and creators. You will partner with various engineering teams to build a multi Kubernetes cluster data center architecture, ensuring the availability, cost-effectiveness, and productivity of Roblox's business operations. This position requires a blend of deep technical expertise and business acumen, as you will directly influence the profitability and strategic direction of the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategy and vision for the infrastructure across multiple engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Design teams to create exceptional infrastructure products.
• Work with Engineering and Finance to achieve best-in-class economics and maintain a profitable P&L.
• Define goals, work, and metrics for executing large engineering initiatives.
• Champion and promote Roblox's unique approach to infrastructure both internally and externally.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience leading infrastructure, developer, and operations tools/products.
• Experience working at a senior level with cross-functional executive teams on cross-organization initiatives.
• Expertise in infrastructure platform technology and familiarity with industry state-of-the-art.
