About the position

Circana's General Merchandise Retailer-Manufacturer Collaboration team is dedicated to delivering measurable business outcomes to our retailers and manufacturers. As the Sr. Director, you will be responsible for driving the use of Circana's data sets and solutions specifically designed for Walmart and Sam's Club. This role involves leveraging data and solutions to create programs that provide insights and identify mutually beneficial business opportunities for both manufacturers and retailers. In this position, you will engage with various internal teams, including Retail, Manufacturer, Value Delivery, Knowledge Centers, and Product teams, to ensure that our offerings deliver value to enrolled clients. Your focus will be on maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring renewals. Additionally, you will be tasked with driving new business by acquiring new clients and accounts, thereby securing a sustainable sales pipeline and developing new revenue opportunities. This hybrid position is based in Bentonville, AR, where you will be expected to work onsite two days a week. Your responsibilities will include owning strategic partnerships, enhancing manufacturer use of retail-specific data, maintaining positive customer relationships, and proactively pursuing measurable business objectives. You will also be the main point of contact for manufacturer requests and will participate in industry events to network and identify new business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategic partnerships and deliver client satisfaction by developing and delivering programs that enhance manufacturer use of their retail specific data and solution investment
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by becoming an industry-subject matter specialist in Retailer - Manufacturer collaboration
  • Build a complete and interconnected understanding of potential clients' industry needs
  • Proactively pursue measurable business objectives, partnering with both Manufacturers and Retailers
  • Drive sales and renewals for existing accounts securing pipeline, new revenue opportunities and maintain client relationships
  • Partner with Retail and Manufacturer Teams to develop and execute account plans
  • Work with Product to ensure roadmap meets the long-term needs of clients
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Northwest Arkansas manufacturer requests, problems, and questions
  • Network to identify new needs from our clients and potential business growth
  • Participate in industry events and forums in Northwest Arkansas
  • Demonstrate Circana Behaviors including Center on the Client, Own the Outcome and Be a Challenger

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of related experience
  • Experience working with Walmart manufacturers and understanding of the relationship between them and the retailer
  • Understanding of data analytics industry, business model, products, services, and solutions
  • Skilled in Unify+ or DecisionKey
  • Experience working within a CPG or General Merchandise manufacturer, or retailer, specifically in roles related to sales and category management
  • Solid understanding of Walmart Retail Link, Luminate, and Sam's Club MADRID
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
