This role manages across multiple geographies and teams requiring the ability to interact and manage a variety of global and local leadership/stakeholders to navigate global processes and systems for compliance and effectiveness. Direct high-priority payroll projects across all payrolls to ensure JLL's compliance with pay practices, regulations, internal policies, and reporting. Provide consistent oversight and management of all payroll service providers in alignment with agreements and service levels. Responsible for the delivery of payroll updates, dashboards, and analytics to support business strategy and decision-making. Management of all payroll-related contracts and services in partnership with Procurement. Ensure end-to-end processes are implemented and consistently executed to drive compliant and timely pay in close partnership with the Regional & Country Payroll Leads. Validate compliant processes and controls are established, trained, maintained, and executed in accordance with internal policies and required laws and regulations (Federal, State, IRS, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.). Collaborate closely with Audit, Tax, Finance, Procurement, and business leaders to implement and monitor tools that ensure compliant and accurate payrolls at the local level. Test on a regular basis global payroll risk controls to identify, mitigate, and remediate issues and control gaps. Oversee the establishment of key Service Level Agreements, quality targets, and global Key Performance Indicators deploying reporting and analytics to support management decisions and continuous improvement. Support HR change and transformational efforts impacting the function and business. Provide guidance and support to the Regional & Country Payroll Leads to ensure effective delivery of Payroll products & services.

Responsibilities

  • Validate and maintain compliant processes and controls according to laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Audit, Tax, Finance, Procurement, and business leaders for payroll accuracy.
  • Test global payroll risk controls to identify and remediate issues.
  • Establish Service Level Agreements, quality targets, and Key Performance Indicators.

Requirements

  • Proven payroll experience (10+ years) in a large multi-national or global payroll function.
  • Experience with implementation and/or delivery of global payroll controls and/or policy.
  • Strong vendor management experience.
  • Strong payroll compliance management experience.
  • Experience providing payroll services to organizations with union representation.
  • Understanding of collective bargaining agreements and client MSAs.
  • Experience with new system, vendor, and operating model implementations.
  • Experience with acquisitions and divestitures.
