About the position

The Senior Director, Performance Marketing - Ostomy Care is responsible for leading the digital marketing strategy and performance analytics for the Ostomy Care business unit at Convatec. This role involves setting the vision for digital infrastructure and omni-channel capabilities, ensuring strong performance across various marketing channels, and driving profitable growth through data-driven decision-making. The position requires collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize marketing initiatives and enhance customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the Ostomy Care Business' digital vision, strategy, roadmap, and capabilities.
  • Ensure strong performance results across all channels including web, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social, events, and affiliate partnerships.
  • Understand the role of Performance Marketing in the overall P&L and drive profitable growth for the Ostomy Care business unit.
  • Assess current marketing analytics and digital capabilities, and develop a roadmap for improvement.
  • Leverage data and analytics to continuously test, optimize, and improve marketing campaigns.
  • Provide frameworks and standards for regional marketers to drive positive customer experiences.
  • Utilize segmentation to build patient and HCP journeys and identify engagement opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and adjust digital growth marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Innovate customer engagement techniques for global and regional marketing teams.
  • Socialize dashboards to demonstrate the effectiveness and ROI of digital initiatives.
  • Oversee marketing mix analytics to inform business investments and targeting.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to increase traffic, engagement, and new leads.
  • Manage digital channels, including media and performance tracking.
  • Align with key functions when designing patient and HCP engagement programs.
  • Develop and manage program budgets and vendor contracts.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 15+ years related experience in multichannel marketing and campaign management.
  • Strong history of achieving KPIs such as Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) and Cost Per Acquisition (CPA).
  • Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, affiliate marketing, and email marketing.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and CRM systems.
  • 10+ years of people or project management experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements.
  • Ability to think strategically and integrate multichannel engagement into business objectives.

  • Experience in building out new organizational performance marketing capabilities on a global scale.
  • Biotech/medical device project/process management experience.
  • Agile marketing experience.
