About the position

The Senior Director Performance Marketing is responsible for leading and optimizing performance marketing efforts to drive customer acquisition at Erie Home. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role requires a data-driven marketer with extensive experience in digital marketing, analytics, and a proven track record of managing successful performance marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, eager to be hands-on, a strategic thinker with proven leadership skills, and can execute a clear and consistent strategy. In this role, the Senior Director will develop and implement performance marketing plans across various channels, including paid search, paid social, affiliate marketing, video, and audio, to achieve business objectives and drive measurable results. The position also involves generating actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance and inform strategic decisions by utilizing data analytics to track, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of performance marketing campaigns. Additionally, the Senior Director will manage the performance marketing budget, ensuring efficient channel and campaign allocation to maximize ROI. This includes monitoring and reporting on budget performance and adjusting as necessary to meet financial targets. The role requires building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing performance marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaboration with other departments, including brand marketing, analytics, IT, sales, finance, and operations, is essential to ensure alignment of performance marketing strategies with overall business goals. Staying current on industry trends and technologies to evaluate, implement, and manage the optimal set of marketing technologies is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in performance marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing performance marketing strategies with multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Marketing experience in the home services industry a plus.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices with expertise in Google Ads / PPC / Meta / YouTube / Affiliate Marketing.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
