About the position

The Senior Director of Procurement - Logistics at Conagra Brands is responsible for optimizing the logistics network through strategic sourcing and developing partnerships with logistics providers. Responsibilities

• Direct the development and implementation of strategic sourcing for logistics networks to achieve expanded capacity and optimal savings.
• Develop strategy and structure for logistics spend to support operating divisions, balancing centralized spend with divisional goals.
• Gain advantage on spend consolidation and specification standardization.
• Develop and maintain high-level business relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Create an engagement and communication strategy to encourage participation in sourcing initiatives and centralized category management.
• Lead the procurement team, including employee selection, training, and performance evaluation.
• Provide high-level procurement support to international operations as needed.
• Participate in developing the strategic direction of the company to meet growth and profitability goals.
• Utilize expertise in market trends for forecasting logistics needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or a related area.
• Expertise in purchasing concepts and techniques.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and category management specific to logistics.
• Operational experience in logistics and contract management best practices.
• Knowledge of strategic planning and forecasting concepts.
• Project management skills and budgetary knowledge.
