About the position

The Senior Director of Global Procurement & Supply Chain Management at Veralto is a key leadership role responsible for spearheading global procurement efforts and strategically sourcing components, materials, and services. This position involves leading a diverse team to achieve cost-saving goals, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining inventory management. The role also includes overseeing the Global Trade Compliance team and requires a minimum on-site presence of three days per week in Wood Dale, IL. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency and excellence in procurement and supply chain management, contributing to the corporation's success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to consistently achieve or surpass annual cost-saving goals while ensuring On-Time Delivery (OTD) and inventory management.
  • Coach, mentor, and foster the development of a globally effective team delivering cost-effective solutions across all global sites and subsidiaries of Videojet.
  • Recruit, staff, and develop a high-performing team responsible for interfacing with business and supplier partners, ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements.
  • Define and implement procurement strategies based on comprehensive demand, market, and supplier analysis to ensure reliable supply of materials meeting quality standards.
  • Implement optimized concepts for supply chains to improve efficiency and minimize Non-Conformance Costs.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of policies and procedures supporting compliance with international trade policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years in Procurement and Supply Chain Management with at least 5 years of senior management experience.
  • BS degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline.
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of commercial terms, regulations, and instruments associated with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and trade compliance.
  • Experience in a discrete manufacturing environment, building teams and driving sustainable cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
  • Strategic thought leader with the ability to leverage macro-opportunities to deliver operational results and margin expansion.
  • Experience managing global supply chains and factory performance.
  • Financial acumen and demonstrated aptitude in analytics and decision-making.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in international procurement and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with advanced procurement technologies and tools.
