About the position

The Product and Solution Marketing Leader at Ping Identity is responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy for the Ping Identity Platform's solutions across various industry verticals. This role involves leading a high-performing team to tailor messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies that resonate with key sectors such as financial services, healthcare, and telecommunications. The leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling value propositions and ensure alignment with corporate objectives and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product and solution marketers.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and metrics-driven culture within the team.
  • Define and maintain the industry vertical marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with Ping's overall marketing strategy, corporate objectives, and revenue goals.
  • Identify and prioritize target verticals based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of target verticals, including customer pain points, market dynamics, compliance needs, and emerging trends.
  • Lead the development of tailored messaging, positioning, and value propositions for each vertical.
  • Help position the company as a thought leader by contributing to content such as whitepapers, webinars, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with sales enablement to create industry-specific sales tools, presentations, and playbooks.
  • Partner with demand generation teams to design and execute campaigns targeting key verticals to support efficient pipeline generation.
  • Work closely with product management to align product roadmaps with industry-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to develop case studies and testimonials from vertical-specific clients.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in product and solutions marketing, preferably in the identity and access management or cybersecurity space.
  • Proven success in leading and growing a product and solution marketing team.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and influence skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong content creation skills, including the ability to develop compelling marketing materials.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to executives, sales teams, and customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong understanding of identity management, cybersecurity, or SaaS industries.
  • Experience marketing to large enterprises and understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
  • Technical background or experience working with enterprise software solutions.
