About the position

GlobalFoundries is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Product Marketing for our Power Business. This role will be instrumental in leading and growing our commercial efforts in the power sector, driving revenue growth, and establishing GlobalFoundries as the preferred partner for fabless entities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a customer-oriented mindset, possessing strong commercial acumen, a deep understanding of semiconductor technology, and expertise in power management technology. This role will report to the SVP and General Manager of the Power Business. In this position, you will collaborate with sales and market teams to build and grow the design-win funnel, qualifying opportunities, and driving engagement and closure to increase revenue while ensuring profitability. You will develop product pricing, positioning, placement, and messaging to differentiate our portfolio in the marketplace, identifying new markets and opportunities for revenue growth. Additionally, you will plan, manage, and execute all marketing activities throughout the life cycle of a new product, creating and deploying compelling presentation collateral to articulate the value of GlobalFoundries' solutions to customers and end-users. You will analyze the competitive landscape and develop strategies to address gaps, interface with customers, field sales, applications, and market teams to support design wins, and manage all opportunities related to the portfolio, including price escalations, customer visits, and sampling activities. Driving the business case, including scope, schedule, resources, demand, and pricing model, will be essential to deliver technology solutions consistent with GlobalFoundries' growth objectives. You will foster a sense of urgency and drive clarity across multi-functional teams to achieve business objectives, addressing issues head-on using data to propel complex multi-site programs forward. Furthermore, you will champion GlobalFoundries' technology solutions with a strong external presence at technology conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a semiconductor product company.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor technology and power management technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Materials Science, Engineering, and/or Business Administration.
  • Fluency in a second language to support high-growth markets.
  • Broad technical and business skills.
