About the position

The Senior Director, Proposals Management & Creative Services is a pivotal role at HMSHost, responsible for directing the design strategy and facilitating business development proposals and creative services that align with the overall business development strategy. This position requires a strategic mindset to make informed decisions on how to present content effectively, drawing from various departments including Design & Construction, Restaurant Development, Finance, Marketing, and Operations. The Senior Director will lead a team tasked with writing, designing, and managing a variety of B2B projects, such as lease extension presentations, proposals, oral presentations, and conference exhibits. This role also involves managing the proposal process in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Expressions of Interest (RFEIs).

Responsibilities

• Direct design strategy and best practices for business development proposals and creative services.
• Lead a team responsible for writing, designing, and managing various B2B projects.
• Manage large and complex proposal projects requiring senior level oversight and extensive executive communications.
• Define functional requirements for proposal development, including writing, researching, designing, and conducting quality assurance.
• Plan and manage projects, defining objectives, methods, timetables, and budgets.
• Manage in-house and external resources to meet creative services needs on-time and within budget.
• Assist in developing themes and discriminators for response frameworks that align with the win strategy.
• Lead digital content initiatives ensuring high-quality creative images represent the company in B2B communications.
• Oversee print production, graphic art, desktop publishing, photography, and videography.
• Establish organizational protocols to identify customer issues, trends, and opportunities.
• Select and implement organizational and process tools to increase efficiencies in project and asset management.
• Oversee corporate digital library, maintaining photographs, logos, graphics, and brand descriptions.

Requirements

• A combination of education and professional experience exceeding 10 years.
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing a senior level team of creative professionals in proposal/project management.
• 10 years of experience in developing and delivering proposal management and creative content.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field can count for 3 years of the experience requirement.
• An MBA or master's degree in a related field can count for an additional 2 years of the experience requirement.
• 3-5 years of experience in Airport F&B and/or Retail.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated expertise in MS Project and Adobe Creative Suite applications.
• Experience with presentation creation in PowerPoint, KeyNote, or Prezi.
• Photography skills and experience with photographic art direction.
