About the position

The position involves formulating and developing annual financial goals and business plans that align with Greystar's strategy related to property management. The role requires leading and directing team members in executing initiatives to meet or exceed budgeted financial goals and achieve operational objectives across assigned markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and approve budgets for assigned markets and property portfolios, monitoring budgeted-to-actual results.
  • Manage financial and operational performance of the assigned property portfolio, identifying performance deficiencies and opportunities.
  • Ensure talent and staffing needs are met by hiring and developing Regional Property Managers and site-level team members.
  • Research and develop potential new business opportunities, including client meetings and financial proposals.
  • Manage client/owner relationships through regular communication and timely reporting.
  • Develop business plans to promote market growth by analyzing market data and trends.
  • Coordinate work activities with vendors, consultants, and contractors, ensuring open communication and processing necessary documentation.
  • Complete various human resources, financial, and administrative reports and analyses.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial management and property management.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial statements and reports.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships effectively.
  • Experience in business development and market analysis.

  • Experience in the real estate industry, particularly in property management.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial forecasting tools.
