About the position

As a Senior Director of Customer Strategy at Merkle, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients to achieve their business objectives through data-driven marketing strategies. This position requires a blend of analytical and creative thinking, enabling you to develop and execute omni-channel marketing plans that deliver measurable ROI. You will be a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging your expertise in various verticals to foster long-term relationships and ensure the delivery of meaningful client value.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the building, development, and delivery of strategic omni-channel marketing plans.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in digital marketing and CRM, translating new technology into actionable marketing ideas.
  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key client contacts and executives.
  • Collaborate with team leadership and partner agencies to turn ideas into executable plans.
  • Identify key data points and measurements to demonstrate the impact of strategies on client business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 8-12 years' experience in data-driven marketing, specifically CRM, email, and online/offline media.
  • 3-5+ years working in an agency environment.
  • Proven experience in developing solutions to support the sale of new services to clients.
  • Hands-on skills using data and research to drive decisions, with proficiency in Excel and research tools.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for presentations.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to incorporate feedback iteratively.
