About the position

The Senior Director of Sales at Trellix is responsible for leading the Majors Northeast Sales organization, focusing on developing and implementing next-generation sales strategies and optimizing SaaS sales within the mid-market customer base. This role emphasizes fostering a high-performing team culture, coaching, and professional development, while ensuring the achievement of revenue projections and strengthening partner and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Majors Northeast Sales organization and develop next-generation sales strategies.
  • Provide coaching, training, and support to direct reports and the sales team.
  • Oversee weekly sales forecasting, activity levels, and pipeline management.
  • Re-engineer performance metrics, dashboards, and process improvements for better sales performance.
  • Partner with Sales Ops and Product Marketing to create sales enablement content.
  • Collaborate with Field Marketing and the Partner community to deliver lead-generation marketing campaigns.
  • Support teams through operational discipline, mentorship, and measurable career development programs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles, particularly in SaaS sales.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and performance metrics.
  • Experience in coaching and developing sales teams.
  • Ability to foster a positive and high-performing team culture.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
