As the Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations at GXO Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our supply chain and distribution processes. You will be tasked with implementing and maintaining operational processes and procedures, preparing reports on performance, and identifying potential improvements for operations. Your leadership will extend to providing direction and development for managers and supervisors, ensuring that they are equipped to meet the site objectives in financial performance, safety, quality, and customer service. You will also be responsible for the hiring, training, and appraisal of staff, taking corrective action as necessary in accordance with company policies. Additionally, you will coordinate plant activities with departmental managers to ensure that objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
