About the position

The Senior Director of Talent Management at AIR will provide strategic leadership in talent acquisition, people management, and employee development, ensuring alignment with AIR's organizational goals. This role emphasizes the integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion into HR practices and offers flexible work arrangements, including remote and hybrid options.

Responsibilities

  • Connects global organizational objectives to strategies for talent recruitment, management, and development.
  • Ensures HR teams within talent acquisition, management, and development are supported and inspired to achieve their goals.
  • Provides strategic direction and advice on process improvement within recruitment, L&D, and HCP units.
  • Collaborates with HR subunits to strengthen opportunities and overcome challenges for all staff.
  • Maintains systems and processes to budget, plan, implement, and communicate people practices that attract, retain, and motivate the workforce.
  • Ensures diversity, equity, and inclusion principles are integral to talent management strategies.
  • Advises the Chief Legal Officer on sensitive HR matters to ensure fairness and mitigate risk.
  • Works with the AHRT director to analyze HR trends and measure the effectiveness of talent strategies.
  • Ensures accurate processing of employee transactions and compliance with guidelines.
  • Reviews statutory requirements governing recruitment and recommends actions to remain compliant.
  • Consults with the Senior Vice President on recruitment, salary offers, retention, and career development plans.
  • Develops materials and presentations for the HR & Compensation Committee of the Board.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in global talent acquisition, people management, and development.
  • Demonstrated experience in succession planning, performance management, and talent development strategies.
  • Ability to make data-based, analytical, and strategic decisions.
  • Experience integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into talent practices.
  • Extensive experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS systems.
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. federal and state regulations related to people practices.
  • Experience managing people practices in diverse international settings.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills for collaboration in a global virtual environment.
  • Strong project management skills around talent initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with specific HRIS systems like Infor, Deltek, Costpoint, Greenhouse.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
