About the position

The Senior Director, Total Rewards & Wellbeing Americas will lead the Total Rewards strategy for Danaher Diagnostics Platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role encompasses managing key initiatives such as the annual compensation cycle, harmonizing grades and levels, and overseeing M&A activities related to compensation. The position also involves developing communication strategies to enhance associate understanding of total rewards and adapting programs based on external market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key Total Rewards strategic initiatives, including the annual compensation cycle and harmonizing grades and levels.
  • Manage M&A integration of compensation and total rewards programs for acquired companies.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance associate awareness of total rewards.
  • Monitor and adapt to external market trends to keep total rewards programs competitive.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to design competitive compensation packages.
  • Strategize comprehensive benefits programs in partnership with Danaher Corporate.
  • Design and implement wellbeing initiatives aligned with Danaher's global Wellbeing Strategy.
  • Develop and mentor the total rewards team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Establish KPIs and conduct regular reviews to measure the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, or Master's/Doctoral degree with 10+ years of experience, ideally with 4+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of innovative compensation design principles and practices, including equity-based compensation and M&A experience.
  • Knowledge of associate benefits programs, including health and retirement plans.
  • Knowledge of well-being programs, including mental and physical health initiatives and leave of absence programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
