About the position
The Senior Django/Python Developer will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining a robust healthcare education platform. This position involves driving complex refactoring projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers, all while focusing on delivering high-quality code and scalable solutions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced web applications using Django, Python, and Vue.js.
- Architect and lead the implementation of new systems and refactor existing ones.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning to deployment and maintenance.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in software development with proven experience in Django and Python.
- Strong grasp of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end development processes.
- Experience as a senior or tech lead on multiple projects with a focus on code quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.
- Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and other version control tools.
