About the position

The Senior Front-End Web Developer will be responsible for developing and supporting the client's web initiatives, focusing on creating and maintaining consumer-facing eCommerce sites. This role requires collaboration with technology and business partners to ensure the successful implementation of web solutions using modern frameworks and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end portions of desktop and mobile web applications incorporating best practices and standard-based programming.
• Design overall user interface/user experience (UI/UX).
• Implement strategies and adhere to best practices for Search Engine Optimization and vendor integration.
• Partner with application developers to integrate web GUI with backend business applications in a 3-tier architecture.
• Write and develop code; conduct unit testing, communicate status updates and issues to team members and stakeholders, collaborate with project team and cross functional teams.
• Troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes, enhance design to prevent re-occurrences of defects, ensure on-time delivery and hand-offs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with CMS platforms, preferably Cloud Cannon.
• Experience in the full software development life cycle.
• Strong command of web standards, responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Expert in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Experience in Client-Side Frameworks such as VueJS, ReactJS, Ruby, and Jekyll.
• Version Control Management experience with VSTS and GIT.
• Proficient knowledge and work experience in MSSQL and MySQL.
• DevOps experience in CI/CD tools like Azure and Octopus.
• Experience working with stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET Framework 4.5+.
• Experience using .NET Framework 4.5+ and Core.
• Experience developing Applications using Web Forms, MVC, and Core.
• Experience in Web API and .NET Core API development and deployment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in Agile development; Scrum is a plus.
