Responsibilities

• Stay informed about audience trends, subject matter, and competitive landscape to contribute content ideas.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to strategize assignments and create content with staff writers and freelancers.
• Write articles and marketing materials, partnering with the team on visual storytelling.
• Develop story ideas and guide writers in their approach, ensuring clarity and helpfulness in the content.
• Monitor and report on content performance, adjusting strategies based on results.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, contributing to workflows that enhance output efficiency.
• Write insightful pieces on topics relevant to Carta's audiences.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience as an editor, with a minimum of five years in B2B content marketing.
• Significant experience in SEO and copywriting, particularly in the venture capital and private equity sectors.
• Proven track record in creating and editing substantial content, including regulatory policy and technology trends.
• Deep experience in story development, structural editing, and line editing with writers of varying experience levels.
• Strong writing and research skills, with a solid understanding of SEO optimization.
