About the position

The Senior Program Manager for Amazon Robotics' Environmental Health and Safety Team is responsible for managing safety initiatives within manufacturing operations. This role focuses on innovating and implementing processes to ensure safe and effective use of resources while collaborating with various teams to meet safety standards and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of large, complex manufacturing and technology EHS initiatives.
• Deliver overall EHS strategy for large programs with input from safety experts.
• Understand manufacturing systems to influence EHS priorities through data-driven contributions.
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, including senior leadership.
• Refine and manage procedures to increase team productivity and effectiveness.
• Define clear goals and objectives for projects and drive decision-making.
• Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related field.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of driving process improvements experience.
• Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, or related field.
• PMP certification.
• Experience in the safety domain in operations or manufacturing.
