About the position

The Senior EHS Program Manager for Amazon Robotics' Environmental Health and Safety Team is responsible for managing safety initiatives within manufacturing operations. This role focuses on innovating and implementing processes to ensure safe and effective use of resources while meeting regulatory and industry standards. The position requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to drive improvements and manage risks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of large, complex manufacturing and technology EHS initiatives, delivering critical solutions and significant improvements.
• Accountable for delivering the overall EHS strategy of a large program with consistent input from experts in all safety domains.
• Understand manufacturing and production systems to influence EHS priorities and strategy through data-driven contributions.
• Communicate ideas effectively to a wide range of audiences, including Directors and VPs, and foster constructive dialogue.
• Add, refine, and remove procedures to increase productivity and effectiveness of teams using project management best practices.
• Define clear goals and objectives, driving decisions about project priorities and proactively identifying risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
• PMP
• Experience working in the safety domain in operations or manufacturing
