Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our global engineering team. This role is critical as AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring that our cloud services remain operational and efficient. As part of this team, you will work on the most challenging problems in the industry, dealing with thousands of variables that impact the supply chain. In this position, you will leverage your hands-on electrical design experience to create resilient and cost-effective electrical distribution systems. You will be responsible for taking designs from concept through to the permit and construction document set, defining critical equipment specifications, and approving equipment submittals. Your role will involve direct support for construction, participating in the process from site selection review through commissioning and turnover.
