Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our global engineering team. This role is pivotal in the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring that our cloud services remain operational and efficient. As part of this team, you will be responsible for the electrical design of data centers, collaborating with a diverse group of engineers, supply chain specialists, and operations managers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions that meet our customers' needs. You will engage in hands-on electrical design, focusing on the critical equipment necessary for data center operations, and will be involved in the entire process from concept through to construction documentation and commissioning. In this position, you will define critical equipment specifications, approve equipment submittals, and support construction efforts. Your role will require you to work closely with local agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. You will also be responsible for creating designs that not only meet our quality standards but also adhere to budgetary constraints.
