Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our global engineering team. This role is pivotal in the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring that our data centers and the associated servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment function seamlessly. As part of this team, you will tackle some of the most challenging problems in the industry, working with thousands of variables that impact the supply chain. In this position, you will be responsible for designing resilient and cost-effective electrical distribution systems that meet our world-class uptime requirements. You will take designs from concept to the permit and construction document set, defining critical equipment specifications and approving equipment submittals. Your role will involve direct support for construction, from site selection review through commissioning and turnover. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers, ensuring that all designs meet or exceed quality and budgetary requirements.
