Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our global engineering team. This role is pivotal in the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring that our data centers and the associated servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment function seamlessly. As part of this team, you will tackle some of the most challenging problems in the industry, working with thousands of variables that impact the supply chain. In this position, you will leverage your hands-on electrical design experience to create resilient and cost-effective electrical distribution systems. You will be responsible for taking designs from concept through to the permit and construction document set, defining critical equipment specifications, and approving equipment submittals. Your role will involve direct support for construction, from site selection review through to commissioning and turnover.
