Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our global engineering team. This role is pivotal in the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring that our cloud services remain operational and efficient. As part of this team, you will be responsible for the electrical design of data centers, collaborating with a diverse group of engineers and specialists to deliver high-quality, resilient electrical systems that meet the needs of our customers. You will work on complex problems that involve numerous variables impacting the supply chain, and your contributions will directly influence the performance and reliability of our data centers. In this position, you will leverage your hands-on electrical design experience to create electrical systems that are not only effective but also cost-efficient. You will take designs from concept through to the permit and construction document set, defining critical equipment specifications and approving equipment submittals. Your role will involve direct support for construction, from site selection reviews through to commissioning and turnover.
